The National PTA offers several training opportunities for its members. There are currently three types of training available to members; convention and conference workshops, online training, and Building Successful Partnerships presentations.
Convention Workshops
Many informational workshops are scheduled during the National Convention. Attendees are able to select from a wide range of topics at each workshop session. Workshop selections are made in advance while registering for the Convention to ensure there is sufficient room for those attending. Online Training
The National PTA has developed a new program that allows members to receive training online. This computer-based training program, called E-Learning, allows members to develop and hone leadership skills when and where time permits. Each course takes from 30 minutes to one hour to complete and is available to members only.
