Programs

The National PTA provides a variety of programs to its members. These programs are designed to promote and support community and parental involvement in schools and in the lives of children and youth. Parental involvement is the main focus of the National PTA's programs.

Reflections Program
The National PTA's Reflections Program is an arts recognition and achievement program for students ages K-12. It is conducted nationwide, first at the local unit level and then progressing to the council, state, and national levels. Building Successful Partnerships
The Building Successful Partnerships Program was developed by the National PTA and focuses on the six standards for successful partnerships. State and National PTA leaders are available to conduct workshops and give presentations on parent involvement and the National Standards for Family-School Partnerships. National Standards for Family-School Partnerships
The National Standards for Family-School Partnerships are guidelines for leaders of institutions with programs serving parents and families. The Standards are designed to help leaders move from discussion to action in developing dynamic parent involvement programs that are meaningful, well-planned, and long-lasting. National PTA Schools of Excellence Program
The National PTA's Parent Involvement Schools of Excellence Certification recognizes schools whose parent involvement programs are based on the National Standards for Family-School Partnerships. Hispanic Initiative
The National PTA has an outreach program to encourage greater involvement by Hispanic parents in their children's lives and to expand PTA membership within the Hispanic community. Many PTA publications are now available in Spanish to support this Initiative.
