Membership Awards

At the Iowa PTA Convention each spring, local PTA units are presented with awards for their efforts in the area of membership. All awards are based on the number of members in a local PTA unit and each unit is eligible to receive more than one award.

Membership in a local PTA unit is based on membership dues sent to the Iowa PTA Office at the end of each month. Memberships are not official until membership dues are paid by the local unit. The postmark deadline for remitting dues for an award is March 1.

Several awards require the completion of an application form by the local unit. These award applications are mailed to the Iowa PTA Office and must be postmarked no later than March 1 to qualify for the award.
