Leadership Training

Training is a very important part of becoming an informed and effective PTA leader. Training adds value in the form of personal and professional development and provides the opportunity to network with other PTA leaders. There are three leadership training opportunities available from the Iowa PTA.

Convention
During the Iowa PTA Convention, several sessions of workshops are scheduled for members to attend. Information about current issues, new programs, and general business guidelines are presented. Special guest speakers provide insight into a variety of children's issues and give inspirational and motivational encouragement to members.

Customized Training for Your PTA
Iowa PTA will provide training for your PTA in any area - at your location - free of charge. Need help with Membership? Advocacy? Reflections?
